Today we had on 3 generations of the Booth Family for a half day Fluke Trip, Lance and his lovely wife, his daughter Chris and son-in-law Dave and grandsons Ryan 7 and Adian 3. Day was picture perfect but conditions were tough. Had a stiff SE wind and then it was wind against tide. Dispite this the day was a blast, young Ryan caught the first Fluke of his life and the fisrt in the boat, Lance boated a healthy 19" fish and then it was weeding through the shorts. Conditions were real tough but the fish did chew. Chris came on strong at the end and wound up high hook for the day. A great family and I really enjoyed seeing the boys taking it all in.

Our charter today cancelled so I was able to spent the day with life long friend Dave Brink. Have known Dave all my life and our families are closly entwinted with their fishing legancys. Day was perfect, great weather and conditions. Headed out bright and early on the outgoing. Stopped at a couple spots in the bay before headed to deep water, shorts and Robbins.
Headed off shore and we started bailing in the Sea Bass and Fluke. On rod or the other was bent at any given moment. Dave was bucktailing, and I was using my personal rig with teaser, pretty much a draw on which produced best. Put the fish we wanted into the box and headed in around 230.
A great day with a great guy, far to few and to long inbetween. |

Today we had on board Bill Specht and his sons Steve and Alex for a Half Day Fluking Adventure. Weather was perfect and conditions good. Bill and the boys were Fluking novices and wanted to learn the finer art of flat fishing. Everybody was very attentive and took all the information and instruction and turned it into a good day of fishing. Was not long before the poles were bending, while shorts again ruled the day, some keepers were thrown in the box for the nights dinner. Guys had a blast fishing and bonding as a family, another great time for the Captain enjoying being able to help a father and sons enjoy their time together.

Had the DePalma family on board today for a half Day Fluke Trip. Bob, Averal, Diane, Dylan and Ann came aboard with high spirits on a beautiful day. Conditions were great and we fished the incoming tide. We got to our first drop and lines went in, wham Dylan comes up with a nice 19" keepers. Rest of the day was spent weeds out a few keepers from a load of shorts. All in all a great day with an outstanding family. A 10 out of 10
