Sandy Hook Fishing

Sandy Hook Fishing Adventures offers Private Charters for personal groups, or  Shared Charter (Open Boat) with other anglers.  We limit our groups to 4 Anglers to ensure your comfort, maximized fishing experience and personal service.

We not only attract experienced fishermen but we also cater to the novice angler and families. We can instruct you to help you land that trophy fish. There is nothing like watching your son or daughter land that first Striper or Doormat Fluke.

Running out of the Schupp's Landing in Highlands, NJ, we are in some of the finest fishing territory on the East coast. We fish Raritan Bay, Sandy Hook Bay, the Shrewsbury and Navesink Rivers and near shore from Long Island to Asbury Park.

Our Fishery offers numerous opportunities for your angling adventure, from chasing the Cow Striped Bass during the Spring and Fall Runs to Fluke Fishing in the Bays and deeper waters of the Atlantic Ocean for those doormats. There is excellent bottom fishing our near shore wrecks and rock piles for Black Sea Bass, Porgy's and Tog.

Your Adventure on the water can be customized to fit your needs, everything you need is included in your trip Rods/Reels, Bait and Tackle. Your catch is iced after being caught and upon returning to the dock it's cleaned and bagged for you.

You or your party do not need a Fishing License or NOAA Registration, as we have all needed Licenses and Registrations to fish New Jersey and New York waters.

Thank you for your interest in us and we look forward to fishing with you.

8/10 Gambone Charter Boxes Nice Fluke
Latest Fishing Reports and News

8/10 - Today we had on board the Gambone Charter for some Fluking. Great weather and conditions greeted us. Made the way outside to where I wanted to fish, glad to see that the currant had slacked off from what it was. Took a couple drifts before we found a body of fish and the poles began bending. Bite was short lived.

Spent the day bouncing from area to area, would fins a body of fish, and after a couple passes the bite would die and we would have to go in search of another piece.

Guys stayed tough at the rail all day and were rewarded by putting some nice fish in the box. Biggest was Joe's 23 1/2" Flattie.

Great day with some great guys, lots of laughs.
